Wanting to express himself on anything he laid his hands on the expanse of this large manila envelope had been calling. The reverse Reads 'XRAY' and it contains within two x-ray films of Laurence's shattered Tibia and Fibula from 2003 when hit by a car.
This piece employs pointalism - the build up of dots to create a picture, in this case Charcoal. There is a delicacy and intrigue and the piece took three weeks to complete.
The recumbent muse pulling at their sheets marries with the canvas' function and offers a curiosity.
